MySQL Comment - Table과 Column의 주석 조회하기

MySQL의 information_schema table을 사용하여 table과 column의 주석을 조회할 수 있습니다.

MySQL의 주석

  • table과 column에 대해 작성한 주석(comment)은 information_scheme table에 저장됩니다.
    • 사용자가 information_schema의 table을 조회하는 데 필요한 권한이 있어야 합니다.
      • 일반적으로는 모든 사용자에게 읽기 권한이 부여되어 있습니다.
  • table 및 column 주석이 설정되어 있지 않으면, 조회 결과 빈 값일 수 있습니다.

Table Comment 조회하기

SELECT table_name, table_comment
FROM information_schema.tables
WHERE table_schema = 'db_name' AND table_name = 'table_name';

Column Comment 조회하기

SELECT table_name, column_name, column_comment
FROM information_schema.columns
WHERE table_schema = 'db_name' AND table_name = 'table_name';
